In our globalised economy, English proficiency is currently a priority for Spanish families, as it fundamental ensuring their children’s future economic and personal welfare. As sign of good parenting, families are increasingly acting linguistic entrepreneurs adopting family language policies oriented to provide children with the best methodologies enhance learning, thereby investing financial capital in extracurricular classes, local camps, stays abroad. searching more natural learning environments, those parents knowledge emulate native bi/multilingual raise Spanish. This type non-native elective bilingualism upbringing gaining momentum Spain deserves further scrutiny.
